When the hat on the left was originally purchased it looked like the hat on the right. Old Red has seen Greece, it’s been drenched with sweat in 9 different states, and it’s had its bill covered in warning track dirt from Game 5 of the 2006 World Series when the Cardinals won it all. Through the years I’ve been encouraged to wash it, to trash it or to replace, but I’ve remained loyal to my old friend. New Red is gonna see some action this year, it may even attend a few games, but Old Red is not being retired. I couldn’t do that to a friend.
