I was challenged to change the way that we order raw materials. When I rose to that challenge, they added a challenge. When I rose to that challenge, they added two challenges. When I rose to those challenges, they added three challenges …

At this point, I am just hoping that it is linear and not Fibbonaccian.

This is the final pitch of today’s Cardinals-Brewers game, as viewed from our terrific seats behind the third base dugout. It was Adam Wainwright’s 12th strikeout.

His pitching line: 9 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 0 BB, 12 K

His batting line: 3-for-3, 1 R, 2 RBI

After the game, Wainwright delivered a baby and changed an old lady’s spare tire on his way to speak at a conference on clean energy.

What a day.

Where D and I will be watching baseball from 12 rows behind the 3rd base dugout tomorrow!

Holy shit. RIP Dodgers Social Media Intern. It was nice knowing you

In Dodgers Social Media Intern’s defense, San Diego started it. Also, na-na na-na boo-boo, stick you head in doo-doo.

The benches clear in the Dodger-Padres game and Vin Scully calls it all.

Final Scene of Season 1 of AMC’s ‘Breaking Bad’: Socio-/psychopathic middle-tier drug distributor “Tuco” just beat a man to death in front of Walter White (“Heisenberg”) and Jesse. Tuco rode off in an Escalade and took with him 4.6 lbs of methamphetamine made by Walt and Jesse. Fading to the end-credits, Gnarls Barkley breaks in with this song as Walt and Jesse stand wide-eyed in a scrap yard with a plastic bag full of drug money.

This show is perfect and this song was a perfect fit.

[St. Louis fans] know the game. They understand the game, but most important, they love the game. And they love the Cardinals. You can’t teach that. It has to come from the heart.
